Special Notice
You can use this BMI scale without the app.
If you prefer not to use the app for data tracking, there's no need to connect it.
The product can measure your height, weight, and BMI independently,
Fit-Profile app is simply for easier data tracking and record-keeping.
Getting Started
NOTE: If you don’t need to connect the app, feel free to skip this section.
- Set up your Smart Scale: Assemble the scale using the manual or installation video, then turn it on.
- Download the “Fit Profile” App: Find and install the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Sign up and enter basic information.
- Enable Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is turned on. Android users also need to enable Location Services.
- Connect the Device: Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top-right corner, select "Add Device," and choose "Ultrasonic Height and Weight Scale." Wait for it to connect.
- Start Taking Measurements: Once connected, you can begin tracking your data seamlessly.
Troubleshooting
Inaccurate weight measurement
This may be due to:
- The scale being placed on carpet or soft surfaces, which can affect readings.
- Incorrect zero calibration if someone or something was on the scale during the zeroing process.
Solutions
- Move the scale to a hard surface or place a sturdy wooden board or tile underneath.
- Recalibrate the scale by pressing the zero button with nothing on it and waiting for the "ZERO" symbol to disappear before stepping on.
Inaccurate height measurement
The normal margin of error is within +/- 0.4 inches. If significant, recalibrate by pressing and holding both the "Zero" and "Unit" buttons for 3 seconds (ensure no one is under the scale during calibration).
Will handrail shaking affect height measurement
Stepping on the scale normally shouldn’t cause it to shake, and slight movements shouldn’t affect height measurement.
Causes of measurement failure
- Height measurement failure could be due to not standing still.
- Weight measurement failure may occur if the scale is on a carpet or if zero calibration is incorrect.
- If "LO" is displayed, the device has a low battery and needs new batteries.
If you can't find the product in the app
Ensure you're using the latest version of the app; we recommend version 1.1.14 or higher. Check your version by tapping "Me" and then "About" in the app.
How to Use the Included Charging Cable
In addition to supporting battery charging, we’ve included a Type-C charging cable. You can plug it into the port located at the bottom of the display for power (adapter not included).
Privacy Policy
Why does the app request location information?
The Fit Profile app does not need, store, or use your location data. This permission is required by Android for Bluetooth connections. If your phone runs Android 6.0 or higher, you’ll need to allow the app to access your location to connect to your scale. Please tap “ALLOW” during setup. If access was denied, you can change this in your phone’s settings.
Will my personal information and measurements be kept private?
Yes, we take your privacy seriously and use necessary measures to protect your data. Your information is only used for calculating body composition measurements.
